A quality improvement project implemented at Portsmouth ICU. The main aims are:
1. Safe and rapid accessibility of emergency drugs required for intubation and resuscitation
2. Minimise drug errors by using pre-filled syringes
3. Robust governance framework for the use of these drugs

Emergency Grab Bags
Purchased from Medisave (Portsmouth ICU have no financial conflicts to declare)
Features:
Features:
- 3 elastic bands across the length of the bag are completely adjustable - faclitating easy insertion of ampoules of varying sizes. The bands can then be tightened ensuring secure transport
- Capacity for 132 ampoules
- 8 net pockets are fitted for the storage of reusable cold gels, vials or daily use equipment. (4 of these are detatchable)
- 2 external pockets for pocket-sized biocontaminated material containers or for general use.
- Retractable handles
